How did you handle email marketing and list management before MailChimp? Did you do it manually, or did you use another service?
MailChimp is the one and only! Prior to this I sent one email with a huge BCC field.
Why'd you choose MailChimp?
It was the smartest one out there. I looked at a few different services and anything I couldn't figure out in 30 seconds I passed on. MailChimp made it really easy...and the pay as you go is the right way to do this. I sound like a bad infomercial...but it's true.
How has MailChimp improved your business?
Well...I just use it to send out personal films , so I can't say it's had a direct effect on the business. But my list continues to grow and that's gratifying.
Have you learned anything new or interesting about your customers after using MailChimp?
Not my customers(clients) so much, but I do reach more people and thus get more feedback and it's interesting to see how people react to each film...whether they were compelled to pass the film to friends, or if they watched it more than once, or if they bailed from the list.
