      This approach will not work in Windows Live Hotmail: one gray area, no alt text at all…

      Same goes for Yahoo mail, they grey-box the image areas to show no ALT text. :(

      But, at least yahoo puts thumbnails of the images near the email, so possibly if the thumbnail previews look interesting enough to someone, they actually might enable images.

      Cool idea! I’m trying this out for my campaign that’s going out tomorrow morning. I don’t normally send out “all image” emails.

      I have heard that slicing the image will reduce spam filtration. is this true or is it only , and if so is there a link to this information?
