Thanks for the post guys! You really do rock. We have recently made a lot of changes and will make more as we refine the website and all of the email subscription methods. So some things you see now may change.

We will be getting a technology upgrade in March for mail-order and our website and we then hope to use the MailChimp API directly in our customer service application.

I've espoused this on twitter (@ciordia9) before that my family is very happy to have MailChimp as a supporter of our small biz, The Secret Chocolatier. Being that our list is small and you let us utilize it for nothing, zero, nada. +Karma your way.

We utilize these above tools too. We have a Chocolate Party, and a Blog Subscription subset of readers and are still learning more ways to get the most out of our subscribers.

Above all we don't want to overwhelm them with emails so we are very prescient of that fact. We're also always striving for a higher open rate which is it's own bag of tricks.

Thanks for the tools you have, the places you are developing, and for being kind to the small frys who hope to be big one day. :D
