MailChimp Integrations Dashboard

July 23rd, 2009 | by Ben

MailChimp integrates with a ton of applications, like Batchbook, Magento, Salesforce, Drupal, Wordpress, Freshbooks, Paypal, Wufoo and more (there’s an ever-growing at mailchimp.com/extras).

There are so many now, that managing your different integrations can be tough. So we created this new “Integrations Dashboard” under your Account page.

It’s a great birds-eye-view of all the apps you’ve linked to MailChimp, and what their status is. If you’re experiencing any issues sync’ing data with one of them, this is where you can go to diagnose.

This is great, and I understand that I’m allowed to email someone who has purchased something from me. To this end, I have told my E-junkie account to add purchaser’s email addresses to my MailChimp list.

In trying to follow Best Practices, I have added a notice to my Thank You page to let people know they will be getting my newsletter. What if they want to opt-out at that point?

I put my MailChimp unsubscribe link into that Thank You page… will it work, sorta simultaneously? Can someone Unsubscribe pre-emptively if the email address has not yet reached my MailChimp list?

I have installed the wordpress plugin but do not have an option under “Interest Groups” for a drop down box. I have several categories to choose from and without the drop down box the email form is LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG!

      Any help with this? Thanks!
