		<description>I think the subject line is the determining factor for opening -- however, the &#039;from&#039; name is more of a filter. First you look at from name, and as long as it&#039;s recognized, then you move onto the subject and decide to open or not.

Also I don&#039;t think it matters so much if you&#039;re a mega brand or a small business. Perhaps initially, but as long as you build your reputation as a company that always sends relevant, compelling emails, subscribers will want to open them. At least that&#039;s what we can all hope for!
