Charter accidently deletes 14,000 email accounts

Charter accidentally deleted 14,000 of their customers’ email addresses. The folks at DeliveryMonitor.com point out that you might have experienced more than the normal amount of bounces from Charter.com accounts. They also recommend that until Charter sorts things out, you may want to exclude Charter email addresses from your mailings (otherwise, they could theoretically bounce and be cleaned from your list).

“You may also want to isolate those addresses, wait a week for those Charter users who wish to reinstate their Charter.net email accounts to do so, and then attempt to email them.”
